Summer Discovery Days!

Join us this summer for our Summer Discovery Days, brought to you in partnership by Skills Street and The Work-wise Foundation.

Designed for curious minds and adventurous families, our Summer Discovery Days offer a unique pick-and-mix experience, allowing you to choose the activities that interest you most. Book as many or as few experiences as you like and create your own day of hands-on fun!
📅 Event Dates:

  • Tuesday 11 August – Primary-aged children

  • Tuesday 25 August - Open to primary age students

  • Thursday 27 August - Open to secondary age students (including a career focus)

✈️ Desktop Flight Simulators
Take to the skies in our realistic flight simulators and experience what it's like to be a pilot.

  • Minimum age: 8 years

  • £10 per child

  • 45-minute sessions

  • Available at: 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:00pm and 2:00pm

🚀 STEM Flight Activities

Enjoy exciting aviation-inspired STEM challenges including launching rockets, making parachutes, designing paper aeroplanes and flying drones.

  • £7.50 per child

  • 45-minute sessions

👩‍✈️ Cabin Crew Experience

Step into the role of cabin crew and learn the skills needed to care for passengers.

  • £2.50 per child

  • 45-minute sessions

  • One parent may accompany one child

🎨 Arts & Crafts – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Get creative with recycled-material crafts, friendship bracelets, pasta necklaces and plenty more.

  • £5 per child

  • 45-minute sessions

🏗️ Esh Construction Zone

Explore construction through hands-on challenges including water wheels, water filters, KNex bridge building and our interactive sandpit.

  • £5 per child

  • 45-minute sessions
