Skills Street brings a world of work learning experience to school groups and educators, linking curriculum learning to careers and practical activity.

Visitor groups will take part in skills-focused workshops that are codesigned by our industry partners. We change perceptions of learning through practical activity and place education in the context of careers, employment, and attribute development.

Skills Street Activity

Each of our 45 minute Skills Zone sessions will feature an industry, a business partner, a subject area and a career pathway.
Skills Street sessions give students a taste of the world of work by simulating real workplace environments and industry-specific tasks.
Structured for different key stages, these sessions help develop essential skills across various industries, preparing participants for future careers.
Skills Street sessions help bridge skills gaps by providing hands-on experience , ensuring participants develop the practical skills employers need.

School groups across all key stages of education will enjoy one of our 45 minute ‘Skills Street’ sessions in the Sky Skills zone. This session will be one part of a half or full day curriculum linked visit. Immersive, industry led learning in action!
