Skills Street brings careers education to life by connecting curriculum learning with real workplaces, helping schools deliver meaningful, engaging and future-focused learning experiences.
Our immersive, skills-focused workshops are co-designed with employers and industry partners to give students first-hand insight into the world of work. Tailored to each Key Stage, every visit encourages learners to develop essential employability skills through practical activities, teamwork and problem-solving while exploring a wide range of career pathways and industry sectors.
Designed to complement classroom learning, our programmes support careers education, PSHE and wider curriculum objectives. They align with the Gatsby Benchmarks, Quality in Careers Standard (QiCS), Matrix Standard and the developing 2028 curriculum, providing schools with a high-quality careers experience that supports inspection requirements while helping raise aspirations, challenge stereotypes and inspire future career choices.
To ensure every visit has a lasting impact, we also offer a pre-visit pack that prepare students and teachers for their experience and optional follow-up activity pack that reinforce learning, encourage reflection and support ongoing careers conversations back in the classroom.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), every pound invested is reinvested into Skills Street, helping us enhance learning experiences, develop new industry partnerships and widen access so that more young people can benefit from high-quality careers education.

College & Training Group Experience
An exciting and informative experience designed for learners enrolled on Travel, Tourism, Cabin Crew and Airline Management courses. This interactive programme combines practical, hands-on activities with curriculum-linked learning, bringing the aviation industry to life while supporting classroom studies.
Learners will explore key aspects of airport operations and develop their understanding of industry practices through immersive and engaging activities. Sessions may include contextualised airport operations, fuselage-based scenarios and aircraft safety demonstrations, helping students build confidence, problem-solving skills and an appreciation of the roles and responsibilities within the aviation sector.
